@leonbeas It's a G/aY cam?
If they open up development, my bet is that the first app would be a beach perv bubbling appis
JAJAJjaajjaajja Well that is most probably true, @retorspective come on unslashit...

I see it appeals to @leonbeas demographics.
JAjajajaja, not seeing myself taking pictures of me against a statue, at least in this life time. But now to be honest its a nice cam for anyone who will use it for creativity work, or just for fun, even though the video make me laugh quite a bit. Sony is targeting young people with this cam, or maybe just getting "modern". Hey and i have anything against any kinds of people. This demographic "status" you mention is nothing but Imperial and colonialist way of thinking, to engage some people on not having criteria, We are all the same in spite of every differences.
Apart from that the camera apps is nice step to somewhere.
Sony has released two new apps on their PlayMemories App Store for owners of their Wi-Fi-equipped NEX-5R and NEX-6 cameras. The apps, Light Shaft and Motion Shot are available in the PlayMemories App Store .
Light Shaft lets you add Ray, Star, Flame, and Beam effects to photos you've already taken. Sony's examples show include adding 'God Rays' to a photo, or a lens flare effect to a diamond ring.
Motion Shot takes a series of exposures, isolates the moving subject (such as a skier), and superimposes them over a fixed background.
Does anyone had a chance to compare it to the 5n, it's moire and aliasing really an issue with this camera? I've been offered a 5r with 16-50mm for a really good price (cheaper than a 5n) so I was wondering if it's worth it or not. I was considering a G6, but for the same price I could get the 5r with the 16-50, add a chinese speedbooster and a canon fd 50 1.4. Budget is an issue so I'm trying to make the best choice!
