So I have now quality video, pro color correction, good microphone & recorder. But what about audio editing?
Considering editors, many options exist.
I recommend to try MAGIX products.

They also have free edition:

Considering three other questions I suggest some good book.
Reaper 4 is a solid performer on Windows if you don't want to dive straight into Protools, it follows the same methods of editing etc - try free for 30 days then buy the $60 license if you like it. Compression and limiting are another kettle of fish altogether - how long have you got lol

Only one rule for audio though - get it right at source as you can't polish a turd.
audacity is great
