Error message when using ptool3

I am on a Mac 10.7.3 and running wine bottler version 1.2.3. I can open ptool3 and see GH2__V11.bin but get an error ""Wrong file or trying to use already patched file"

Any ideas?

Yes. You are trying to use already patched firmware.

Can you tell me where to find the unlatched firmware.

Check your Ptool version, redownload firmware, as file can be not downloaded properly.

I got the Ptool3 from https://www.personal-view.com/faqs/gh2-hack/ptool-software it states created on 11/08/2011 no version number. Are you saying that the GH2__V11 is unpatched? I have downloaded this file several times thinking, just as you mentioned, my copy my be corrupt on unusable. Odds are in favor of it being useable. Is this indeed the firmware I need?

Any PTool has version number, and 11/08/2011 is old PTool you can't use with current GH2 firmware.
