after see magic lantern hdr video working i got this idea a future version of gh2 (maybe GH4) could have two iso in same image to build a hdr stream half pixels at iso 100, half pixels at iso 800 and merge two video streams into one hdr video same shutter speed, same fps, same lens aperture, a perfect hdr solution customizable two iso selection for user to get hdr video magic lantern use one frame at iso 100 and another frame at iso 800, but a better hdr video will use same frame half pixels at iso 100 and half pixels at iso 800 (or another iso selected by user)
Canon cameras have the HIGHLIGHT TONE PRIORITY function, it works by setting a different iso for highlights. what we need manufacturers implement is this same function but with an option to chose 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 fstops diference.
I'd prefer a Fuji SuperCCD style sensor implementation but video not being raw, you'd need to be able to set highlight rollback on the camera to how you want.

This is wrong view. ISO is set for whole sensor. All highlights modes work by differently processing RAW data.
Hi Vitaly, thanks for your repply. Do you think you could implement some kind of HDR video for the GH2 hack, something similar to magic lantern hdr or even a new way to do?
