    Recall of boxed CPU due to "smart" decision to cut cooler cost by another $1 (rumors are that by $0.7) by removing small copper insert.

    Intel already optimized stock coolers for a while, increasing fan maximal speed and cutting metal amount and reducing copper insert.

    Total savings can reach $2-2.5 (while Intel profit on this Xeon can reach 80% of the retail price).

    Around 90% of such savings go to bonuses and premiums of top and middle management.
