Capitalism: Comcast and 1TB limits
  • Comcast has long said that a minority of its customers approach the limits of their 1TB data caps in their home internet plans, but that number is growing. Comcast says that its median users are using 200GB of their 1TB data.

One of the reasons being really bad internet infrastructure and speed in US. As such horrible companies like Comcast do not want to invest properly in hardware and lines.

Residential high-speed internet revenue was again the largest contributor to overall Cable growth, increasing 10% to $4.6 billion.

But we do not plan to invest much, as usual.

Ars Technica noted that earlier this year, it found that 4.1 percent of households hit their limit, a jump of 2.1 percent from last year.

People need to learn to use torrents, ditch recompressed Netflix shit, read proper things and finally destroy this horrible companies standing on the way of progress.
