Mergers: Intel thinks about buying AMD GPU division

    Talks started in the industry that big departure of GPU people to Intel and their desktop GPU plans are closely related, and company is in private consultation considering buying graphics division of AMD, this can start from big patents buyout and part of department transfer.

    Investments required in the new generation of chips are so large that we can see such strange mergers.

    Even stranger is that NVidia can actually merge after this with that will remain from AMD.

    In about 5 years they will be merging Integrated Micro Forges Inc. with Century Disney Co. and acquiring Papal Beliefs Holding Ltd.

    Not long after private visas and personal karma coin become norm.
