Some Tamron lenses have issues
Dear Tamron product users and potential purchasers. Thank you for your continued support of Tamron products. We would like to announce you that we have confirmed that some of our lenses do not work properly with the Nikon D6 released on the Japanese market on June 5, 2020.
Affected models:
- Tamron SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD (Model F045) for Nikon
- Tamron 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) for Nikon
Symptom:
- AF does not work when the camera power is turned on after mounting the lens with the camera power off.
- AF does not work when the camera returns from sleep mode.
We are currently working on the cause of those issues and will inform you of updated information in our website. We sincerely apologize to all users and potential purchasers for any inconvenience this issue may cause.

We have found that some SIGMA interchangeable lenses for Nikon are not fully compatible with the Nikon D6 released on June 5th.
When certain lenses are attached to this camera the following phenomena will occur.

Phenomenon:
- It takes time to start even if the camera power is turned on
- Autofocus does not work
Nikon made special small changes, and, of course they tested and made sure that competition will have small issues.
Tokina again
We would like to inform You that we found functional issue with Tokina opera 50mm f/1.4 FF (Nikon F mount) when used with Nikon D6 camera (released on June 5, 2020). Other Tokina lenses work normally.
Affected model: Opera 50mm F1.4 FF (Nikon F mount).
Symptoms:
- When the power of the camera with the lens attached is turned ON, AF might not work properly.
- After the camera recovers from "Sleep mode" AF might not work properly.
- We are currently investigating the issue and will inform you as soon as possible.

Fixed an issue that would in very rare instances result in a burst of two photos being taken with a single press of the shutter-release button when Single frame was selected for release mode.
