I'm starting to see more and more "retro digital" articles... when I look back at the images I shot with my Canon PowerShot G6 from 2004, I'm still impressed by the image quality. I don't see any "retro look" though.

Reason being - less and less new camera releases.

Ccd had its good properties and really good features over cmos shit. But we'll, heat, energy, and the lack of innovation drown it. I prefer ccd over cmos personally. Can't say it's more organic since lithography is very far away from it.
