Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ now have 5 minute limit for videos made at 4K 60fps.
It was made by request of copyright guys, mostly to make shooting cinema screen harder.

Did they also request that there be no stabilization for 4K 60P?...

Considering stabilization it can be Sony request.
Last year Sony demanded disabled 4K 60fps mode.
