    The offering is being made through a private placement.

    GoPro intends to use a portion of the proceeds to pay the cost of certain capped call transactions. The company intends to use the remaining proceeds for general corporate purposes.

  • GoPro, an internationally renowned manufacturer of action cameras, has reported operations in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, which closed on March 31st. The report indicates that GoPro continues to incur losses, although they are decreasing.

    Revenue for the three-month period amounted to $203.68 million against $119.40 million a year earlier. Thus, according to this indicator, an increase of 70.6% was recorded.

    Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) net quarterly losses were $10.17 million. By comparison, in the first quarter of last year, losses were significantly higher at $ 63.53 million. Thus, the net loss was reduced by more than six time.

    It is noted that in April this year, the number of GoPro subscribers exceeded the milestone mark of 1 million. Sales of cameras during the past quarter were at about 700 thousand units.
