ND filters and IR pollution

    This is widely known problem, espesially visible if you are using 8 stops filters.

    Definitely something to keep in mind, yeah, I've been hit badly during some early shoots with RED One. An actor's black nylon jacket became purple.

    Many Sony's have problems in near infrared too. While film needed to be sensibilized to register infra-red, all electronic sensors are seeing it very well.

    A Tiffen T1 filter will fix this.

    Looking for ND for use on the Nokton, also the Leica 25mm when I push the button on that! I have been looking at faders, does anyone have any recommendations?

    I started a post on this a while back on Tiffen INDIE ND filters.
    At that time, Filmtool had them for 40% off.
    Anyway, they solve the problem.
