Sony will rise prices in EU

    Sony Germany officially notified German stores about an upcoming price increase on almost all camera and lenses starting from August 1. Prices will go up by in some cases by almost 20%. For example, the price of the new 85mm GM lens will go up 100 Euro.

    Cited reason is exchange rate.

    Bad news for consumer.

    Some prices now are more expensive on Sony articles in USA. I remember seen the body of A7S totally new around U$1500-1600 and now the price is about U$2,100-2,300 on new body.
