    I made a little video comparing two different LEDs, check it out if you're considering buying LED-lights.

    I wish that list would cover the most popular Chinese brand models, like Aputure. Now it mostly contains models which hobbyists cannot afford.

    One thing I know for certain, Aputure CRI 98 http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/13604/aputure-light-storm-lights-cri-98#Item_3 has better light quality than many things in this list.

    Well in this topic's title you made it look like only the price that matters.

    Maybe I wasn't clear enough in the video. But CRI doesn't mean anything when it comes to LEDs. That's my main point. Looking at CRI you will ens up disappointed because a light can have 95+ CRI and still have a TLCI rating of 60- which means you're going to get bad colours.

    TLCI is a rating based on the digital sensors we have today and gives you a more realistic value.

    Yep, you just need to check CRI and such things. Even CRI 98 is accessible now.

    The video would have been useful if you would have told the actual models you tested. There's a lot of new LED lights and I'm pretty sure many $300 models produces quality light these days, like Aputure HR672.
