Has anyone upgrades to firmware v4.0 - how is HLG (HDR) supposed to work? Alternative to S-log? In my initial testing (10-bit 1080) seems good, can't seem to make it 'pop' (but S-log is same issue), but have no idea what the workflow is. Is the idea to shoot in HDR, edit, then color grade one version for 709 and one for HDR (or save to do in the future?)
Don't know why but seems Sony pull down the upgrade (in Europe?).

Sony fixed firmware - v4.02 is available
Ver4.02 (Functionally, it is the same as the Ver.4.00.)
V4.02 fixes the following issue:
- Video image may be recorded with short delay of 2 or 3 frames of audio in other recording modes than AVCHD.
- When choosing [HLG1],[HLG2] or [HLG3] in the PictureProfile and CENTER SCAN in the CAMERA/PAINT menu, rebooting the camera may cause brightness and color shift.
V4.00
- Support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) by shooting in Hybrid Log-Gamma** (HLG) standard
- Support for continuous 120fps High Frame Rate (HFR) recording in 1080p with CBKZ-FS5HFR (sold separately)
- Option to change the minimum ISO sensitivity number to ISO 2000 from ISO 3200 when recording S-Log2/S-Log3

@theconformist here's a video explaining HLG (aka: Instant HDR) and its workflow, which is PP10 on the Sony cameras (Including the FS5 &Z150) that get it in a firmware upgrade:
New firmware version 4.03
Movie recorded with recording method other than AVCHD supported cases where images are recorded 2 to 3 frames later than audio. This has been fixed.
In the picture profile, if you turn on / off the power while selecting either [HLG 1] [HLG 2] [HLG 3] and turning on the center scan of the Camera / Paint menu, the case where the brightness and color tint deviate has been fixed.
Sony FS5 (and FS5 II) still has features no other camera has, viz - 4K DCI 120P from 12bit RAW. Here is another example. SDR version:
HDR (HLG) version: Shot in Slog2 ProRes HQ on the Shogun Inferno. Graded in Resolve Studio. Lens: Sony DT 55-300mm ($289!).Sony FS5 has a $750 price drop to under $3.5K
