    Some people say you can get a slightly better image compared to the patches/hacks by recording from the HDMI output but you have to do some extra work to make it work correctly. You'll need an external HDMI recorder and audio recorded, etc etc.

    No, there isn't. This is physically impossible because the hardware doesn't support it.

    Also, there are no hacks for the GH3.
