AT8022 X/Y, good choice?

Piano is tricky. Why not get a pair of Oktava MC012?

Dave, I have a single Okatava 012 from soundroom. A second one would about the same price as a AT8022. But aren't double Oktavas supposed to be matched up at birth?

The BP4025 is awesome. I own that, and it is perfect in every way except that you give up spacing freedom for an all in one design. The noise floor is unheard of, the resilience against SPL is great, and the large diaphragm nuances are the best. Mostly linear and airy accurate image.
