Woooww! Do you have any idea how much the price is for this lens? Yongnuo really provides alternatives for tight budget Canon user. I wonder why Canon let Yongnuo makes copies of their lens. I think Canon understand that tight budget potential users will lean toward Canon bodies if the price of the Canon system lenses is low enough. I think Canon is very interested in selling low-end body and let Yongnuo fill the budget prime lens needs for this segment. Do Canon have a certain agreement with Yongnuo to not issued Yongnuo of copying their lens? Or may be Yongnuo is actually Canon Chinese factories for flash and lens?
I have no idea. May be patent on optical design of this lenses is no longer valid. All other parts are actually different inside.
No reason not to have excellent lenses for a reasonable price; I welcome Yongnuo and anyone else.
Where can I gobto buy these in US?
