So Here i im making the second step on my profesional equipment buy. The first time was a mess vith vitaly but a good experience!!! it was 2 GH2 and a complete rig but more cheap, even now is working and has made more than $200k in sales belive it or not. :-D I have a lot of belive in GH series so im buying a new 2 gh4 set. I allready have cables and stuff.
The idea of this is making a safe next step in equipment and also prepare for a PRO super 34mm 4k camera. Im betwen the AJA xion and the sony FS7. This GH4s will complement that final buy. But this is firts more sell, money later, then ill buy the super 35mm camera.
Here the proof gh2 hard work: Its incredible what you can get from this little gh2 bastards
The thing is TO YAGH OR NOT TO YAGH?????? This means to SDI or not. On pro enviroment you CAN get allright with HDMI if properly taped and secured, but SDI is lock standard.
Adding YAGHS dont increase the cost to much, BUT THE COMPLEXITY OF THE SYSTEM INCREASES QUIET A BIT.
So here is my list ( ANY COMENTS ARE WELCOME PLEASE)

Plenty of stuff. PV has GH4 cages for cheaper price on deals, also note that coiled mini HDMI cables can be cheaper on ebay (as Atomos does not make them).
For monitor - you can use small LG IPS TV (up to 40", even 4K IPS cost around $1000) and cheap HD-SDI to HDMI converter glued to it's back. They have 10 point calibration, plus you could show them 4K, just in case.
I'm not sure that a coiled cable is the way to go with a horrible connection platform. Yeah, I know you can get the clamps etc. Go to a big shoot and look for pre-coiled cables. They will be few and far between if they are there at all.
@rockroadpix that is the issue with GH4 on pro scenarios.
They have managed to shrink the HDMI port so is unstable and a total fuck to work with. Then ohhhh suddenly YAGH apears, but complicate all too much with its mutiple cables for riging it.
Also @Vitaliy-Kiselev, what offers can you make from this list, maybe better or even cheaper, from al your stuff on site. You know ill buy from you. About 4K monitor, moving arround too much the equipment damage it. Ikan is sturdy thats the reason for purchase.
PLEASE share the name of your colorist. :-)
Seriously, those are killer grades on your GH-2.
i do the color :D
What program do you use? Awesome job!!! Blows me away.....
You will need a good hdmi clamp if you arent buying the yagh. See the cages thread for links. BTW, how is the yagh complicated, cable wise?
I would love to use a YAGH, but complicates much for 3 things, or its a trade off.
1: For proper recording you must use 7 cables for 4K image in pro environment. 1 Power cable, 1 microphone XLR cable , also 1 input from camera micro HDMI to HDMI port from YAGH and the 4 SDI BNC lock cables for proper 4k acquisition. Im not even talking GEN LOCK for multicamera.
2: All that stuff attached to that interface makes things too dense per cubic centimeter. If i use only HDMI out to recorder its all better BUT:
3: HDMI is easily fucked by any one stepping on the HDMI cable and fucking up the image easily. Remember locking up cables is easy. STEPPING on it is the fucked part since they are not design for this heavy use. Step on a SDI cable, it withstands the step, the weight, the Image wont degrade on the monitor, as happens with HDMI. Then you end up with bad monitoring bad recording. Client sees all this and thinks monitors and video are bad, they think YOU are bad.
Even though YAGH makes you use proper work flow...but for that money i can then get proper camera like Sony FS7 or AJA XION. NOT A BLCKFUCKINGMAGIC they suck in all repects, bad implementation. So that is my personal view.
Then why don't get FS7 and shut up. Cos GH4 ability to go everywhere and EASILY make a good image, its a better second step on my pro career for multiple camera.
@havasuvideo i use premiere pro 5.5 and Colorista II for all my work. I Never use 4:2:2 transcoding for my image.
Could you share the rig you have for your gh2?
