Does anyone know of tests demonstrating that using an external recorder (e.g. Atmos Ninja Inferno) improves GH5 autofocus performance?

Nice improvements. Too bad the GH4 won't really benefit from the IS etc without a costly adapter. The first version was a surprisingly useful lens for wildlife and very sharp.

Agreed. I spent 3 months, largely alone in SE Alaska forest in the 60's. Returning home I realized just how insane our modern environment is when you are no longer acculturated. I couldn't leave home for a week.

Ditto...very useful in field for reasonable lighting conditions, especially given the apparent issues with the new image stabilized lenses. Haven't seem them with my "vintage" (new meaning in digital age) 14-140.

You may find the online advanced manual more helpful. I do. Be aware that menu may change depending on recording mode and that you may have to dig deep for what you want to do. The advanced manual has a number of search functions in pdf mode.

GH4 RAW files Magenta/pink highlight recovery. LOSING MY MIND!
For some reason, DxO couldn't load your shot of the stream (P1200485.RW2). Now it has and the pink highlight is very prominent. No clue as to cause save for ISO or camera problem.

I took a quick look at the headshot using DxO Pro (which I find superior to LR CC for raw file processing). The shadow from the pendant is pink, but not the pendant. I couldn't make the highlights go pink. DxO didn't recognize the lens, so…

@sir_danish Sorry to be unclear. Reload original Firmware 1.1 or uncheck options. What I believe I did was load one ini file in PTools and then another resulting in mixed settings, yielding some astonishingly bright strobing at highlighted edges.
