@theconformist. I just received the black version today. It's a step up from my Honu cage which I'll keep for my Gh3. I haven't had time to see how my attachments fits but it's a very refined cage that hugs the camera.

35mm F1.4 and F0.95 SLR Magic Cine lenses
I ordered one 3 months ago from Adorama and this was the description of the lens on their website "SLR Magic 35mm T f/1.4(II) Lens for Micro 4/3". Dont know if the (II) means Mark II or if its any different than the others.

Has anyone noticed while pointing the lens downward the focus ring is not as smooth and gets little noisier. For $400 the image is good but these issues are a little annoying.

@driftwood copying it to the hard drive doesn't help and I'm using non spanned clips. My only work around is to import using 10.0.5

I have the same problem with Fcpx 10.0.6 importing VY Canis Majoris day pm and night footage. The files with the strange time code does not import.
