Will Panasonic launch 4k camcorders like Canon and Sony?
Are the UX90, UX180 and DVX200 out of your range? I think those would be your best bet for a cheaper, moderately large sensor camcorder

@Vitaliy_Kiselev Thanks. I missed the date but it was still a good read. And yes JPEG is outdated but it's still used everyday in broadcast. How do you see 265 in HEVC vs 264 in XAVC Class 480?

Thanks VK. I appreciate this post. I'm currently working on 4K compression at work and this a great help to show HEVC in comparison to other codecs. We are in the middle of a big debate about the future of XAVC, JPEG and HEVC. Thanks again

How to clean glass in front of sensor on JVC LS300
Grab yourself a sensor cleaning kit from B&H. They're great and last a long time. I've only used them on broadcast 2/3 sensors but I'm pretty sure they're universal. Good luck.

GH4 wont update to 1.1
Thanks for the help guys. It ended up being the card. It can record 4k just fine but can't update a bin file. Go figure lol.

@bmorgan83 All true studio cams are controlled by CCUs. Having a b4 mount doesnt make a difference because the control room has a remote so a director or an engineer could change it from there. No one is gunna buy it anyway so it doesnt really mat…
