Can't record 720p with monitor out to Small HD

    Sorry if this is a stupid question, i have searched the web and the forum. I am prepping for a shoot on the Alexa tomorrow, using the GH2 as a B camera. The camera defaults to 1080i recording when HDMI is plugged in so i can't shoot 720p60 with an HDMI monitor plugged in. Is this correct. Is there a work around?

    Thanks. So to shoot 720p60 I have to use the on board monitor?
    At least i know before the shoot.
