GH2 on Mars

  • I'm amazed about what the plastic body can take.

  • Yeah, NASA couldn't decide between the GoPro and the GH2, but once they found out about the hack, it was game over for GoPro.

  • I think they use Cluster v6 settings :-)

  • LOL @ the GH2 fanboys!

Here's a link to JPL on-site footage of the Mars Curiosity Rover. Quite a hi-tech outer space housing they have on that "GH2":

  • Where did you guys ear that? I've googled this info and haven't found any proof of that being true!!!!!

  • i can assure you, it's true

  • erm, yea i don't think so :-D

  • i have one question. I have seen this image in 360°, and only found some tire prints in the soil about 2 meter 3 meter ahead and thats it. It doest seem to show the landing area. I know for shure it is not in the same spot where the vehicle is, since if it came from somewhere and are the first images of working vehicle, why we dont see parachute or capsule arround, and if they where elswhere...WHERE ARE THE tire prints on the soil telling the incoming rout from lond distance.

I dont belive in this images.

Edit: Also seen the video and i feel its fake. Those, "rocket landing marks" hmmm. i dont know, where is the rest of the stuff???

  • Yeah, now we figured it out! NASA recorded the fake mars landing with a GH2! /s

  • NASA did some crazy manoeuvre, where the parachute was jettisoned before landing and rockets held the rest of the craft in the air and Curiosity was slowly lowered to Mars surface on cables, then the rockets took the crane device off to crash somewhere else.. Very complex procedure, I recommend checking out the landing animation, it really has to be seen to be believed!
