recommendations for a digital slate?

    I bought DSLR slate but sound does not work only on headphones output. Any other recommendations of proofed apps? I still have a chalk board slate but would like to use the iPad and keep my fingers clean. ;-) Thanks

    I use 'Movie Slate' for iPad - it is a bit pricey for an app (you have to buy an upgrade for certain sync functions), but it allows you to sync up multiple iPads, or iPad with iPhone via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and provides TC out the headphone jack if desired. I have run it for hours without it missing a beat...and while keeping 3 devices all perfectly synched.
