Portable Video player than can show timecode

    Some might know the problem: You send a clip to a client and need to burn in TC so can point you to the right places for changes. Thats quite anoying.

    I am looking for same player (preferable multi platform) that allows to display TC without burning it in. I did some research on VLC and did not get any further than abusing a subtitle track. Any idea? It does not need to be frame accurate, its just that in one second many things can happen.
