    Europe cannot avoid constant price hikes - Vice President of the European Commission

    European Commission Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager said in an interview with Handelsblatt that Europeans will have to put up with permanent price increases.

    “A significant part of European industry relies on ultra-cheap energy from Russia, super-cheap Chinese labor and highly subsidized semiconductors from Taiwan. Europe knew about these risks, but showed only greed,” says Vestager.
