Residents of Germany must urgently introduce a regime of total savings in the energy sector, said Vice Chancellor of Germany Robert Habeck
In an interview with the editorial group Funke, he urged Germans to cut their energy consumption by at least 10%. Habek suggested saving on heating in homes or reducing trips by private car.
“Each kilometer not traveled is a contribution to making it easier to get away from energy resources from Russia,” Khabek said.
He also urged the Germans, if possible, to use rail transport, or better, change to a bicycle.
