    The paleotemperatures of sea water are determined by the presence of diatom shells in bottom sediments. These microscopic unicellular algae have bizarre siliceous (opal) shells resembling porous spheres with spiked rays or flat (feathery) formations, also with thorns. The colder sea water is, the more carbon dioxide is dissolved in it, which is necessary for diatoms to produce carbohydrates. They flourish both quantitatively and qualitatively - a variety of species.

    In the interval 230-200 thousand years ago, the climate again became warmer than the modern one. The average annual temperatures of the surface layer of sea water exceeded the modern ones by 2-3 C.

    The alternation of warm and cold periods continued, although there was no influence of human economic activity: there was no intake of carbon dioxide into the air, creating a "greenhouse effect," from thermal power plants and automobiles.

    200-130 thousand years ago, a new cold snap came to Sakhalin. The average annual temperature dropped to -5C, in January -30C, in July only + 12C. Surface sea water temperature dropped by 7C to subarctic conditions.

    After that, it warmed up to 95 thousand years ago: the average annual air temperature was + 5-6C, in January only -4C, in July - up to + 20C. The average annual sea water temperature was 13-15 C, which corresponds to the current temperature in the Sea of ​​Japan at 39-40 north latitude.

    The beginning of a new cold snap lowered the average annual temperature by ten degrees, amounting to -5C. In the north, the land was occupied by shrub-herbaceous plants (sedges, grasses), and from trees - larch, birch, alder, dwarf cedar. Tundra, forest-tundra, permafrost appeared.

    Intense warming began 10.5 thousand years ago. And although there were slight cold snaps, in general, the climate was established close to the modern one with an average annual air temperature in the south of the island of +2C.

    With an increase in the temperature of seawater, part of the carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere, and with a decrease in the temperature of seawater, carbon dioxide, on the contrary, dissolves in water, with a decrease in its content in the air. It is not carbon dioxide that causes climate warming, but, on the contrary, climate warming leads to an increase in the content of CO2 in the atmosphere.

    Mass media and prositute scientists literally bombed pure people with lies. Total economic consequences caused by shorter lifespan, destruction of perfectly good refrigerators is 1.5-2 trillion of dollars worldwide since 1990. Additional profits of big corporations are in hundreds of billions in same period.

    Take for example "horrible CO2", they never talk with you about its concentration in oceans and that happens as ocean temperatures fluctuate. They also never talk with you about forests and how their mass can be used for CO2 storage. As if you use trees for construction it is same as bury the tree deep into the swamp for 50-100 years, so it won't degrade and release CO2 back.

    Forests are not solution for capitalists as all land is owned by bunch of constantly fighting morons that do not want to give up even cent of their profits.

    Can you elaborate on this? As it is little messy in my head.

    With change in water temperature changes amount of CO2 that can be dissolved in ocean. You can look at the scientific literature on this.

  • Temperature impacts CO2 in the ocean, yes. But so does the amount of atmospheric CO2. As the amount in the air goes up (man-made or otherwise) so does absorption into the surface water, which is evidenced by ocean acidification. The ocean is currently a carbon sink because pH is going down, despite air temperatures being higher. Question is at what point does the ocean become supersaturated and unable to buffer some of the atmospheric CO2?

    I agree that the global warming we are experiencing has mostly natural causes (solar cycles, geologic time scale variation) but it's more and more challenging to not implicate at least some human contribution to this.

Thus, the cycles of solar activity from the 21st to the 24th inclusive were covered (the 25th 11-year cycle began in 2020).

    A detailed study of the composition and intensity of the solar wind showed that during the transition from cycle 22 to cycle 23, the mass and energy of the solar wind decreased below the historically recorded levels and did not rise any more in comparison with previous cycles of activity at similar intervals of the cycle.
