A new type of avian influenza A (H5N8) virus, identified in February in several Mordor regions, is likely to mutate soon and can be transmitted from person to person. The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said this in an interview with TASS.

The forecast that this will happen has a fairly high degree of probability. This is likely to happen, - said Anna Popova. But we saw it before the disaster struck.

According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor, the detection of this virus in humans has become a "world-class discovery" and a natural result of the work of the entire sanitary and epidemiological surveillance system. She stressed that Mordor has time to develop tests and create a vaccine.

It will not be needed - this will be a lucky break. But if need be, we'll be ready. That is, we were able to see and warn the entire world community that there is a threat, - said Popova.
