In reality IT firms are not existing in vacuum. For smaller companies their clients are also usually from service, tourism, food and similar sectors.
Exactly areas that already lost around 25% of all firms and second wave can cut remaining in half, at least.
Contrary to Google and Apple who literally swim in tens of billions of free money governments pour into them -this small guys need to survive.
For now they had some safety net and some old contracts they could use, but things became much worse since October start.
Most probably already in December and especially January we'll see huge wave of closures, bankruptcies and mergers.
