CEDIA Expo 2020, the annual trade show for the custom electronics designers and installers industry, was officially canceled as a physical event for this year Thursday by show organizers facing on-going COVID-19 complications.
The show, which is operated by Emerald Expositions for the CEDIA industry, was previously scheduled to have taken place Sept. 8-12th at the Denver Convention Center. But the center continues to be used as a medical care facility for non-emergency cases related to the coronavirus, by order of governor of Colorado. That among other issues related to the virus made it impossible for the show to continue, organizers announced.
