  • Almost forgot

The 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with the Apple T2 Security Chip, Apple's own custom-designed second-generation silicon, which checks that software loaded during the boot process has not been tampered with and provides on-the-fly data encryption for everything stored on the SSD. This allows MacBook Pro and any Mac with the T2 chip to deliver the most secure boot process and storage of any computer. The T2 also protects Touch ID information, so whether customers are unlocking their Mac, entering an online password, or making online purchases, their information stays safe.

This means that motherboard is much harder to repair and it'll cost around 2-3x more if possible compared to previous models.

  • yeah and forget using cheap, like as in free, software, unless it comes from the app store! I think this and the new processors will create a boon for hackintoshes.

  • And this is why Apple is in panic mode now

  • Apple Doubles the Price of RAM Upgrade

Apple today doubled the price for upgrading the RAM on 13-inch MacBook Pro, with customers in the United States now being charged $200 to move from 8GB to 16GB compared to the previous $100 upgrade price. Similar increases are seen in other countries, such as moving from €125 to €250 in Germany and from £100 to £200 in the United Kingdom.

All you need about modern Apple state is in this thing. Brain is dead already.
