    It is part of GPU riser, mostly used for mining.

    Thing is, you can insert it wrong way, in reverse.

    If you do so and turn stuff on, frequently your GPU will be killed, as it gets +3.3V or +12V on the direct unprotected lines that go to GPU itself.
