Price for 1TB on sale is $599, 500gb is $299
Inside we have cheap controller and.. Samsung 970 EVO NVME SSD
With prices of $289 for 1TB and $119 for 500GB (and they are falling fast)
So, best idea for such designs is to get cheapest option, and change SSD inside to large one you need.
If you are ok with USB 3.1 Gen2 speeds can just get enclosure on for around $20.
