Zaxcom will be trekking to New York City for AES 2017 October 18-20 and we’d like for you to come out. If you haven’t seen the new gear we’ve been introducing since NAB there’s no better time than now. The exhibits run Wednesday and Thursday (10-6p EST) and Friday (10-4p EST).

We are hooking you up with free registration, and if you have extra time, there are dozens of technical programs to attend like white paper sessions, workshops, tutorials, engineering briefs, audio for cinema and more. Check out the full lineup here.

Zaxcom will be displaying its line of Digital Recording Wireless, including the ZMT3, ZMT3-HM and ZMT3-Phantom as well as the latest miniature recorder, the ZFR400. The Nomad compact record and the much anticipated Deva 24 will be on hand too.

Have you guys seen anything on your travels that resembles dedolight type LED spotlights? Ie, Lower limit spot beam angle of >10°? I understand that they have a patent on their lens system but other ellipsoidal lights like source 4 exist, although their mini system has minimum of 19° so I assume there are some optics laws going on with size of light vs minimum spot with their design.
