GH2 AVCHD Footage will not import into AVID MC 5

    My GH2 is recording at the 44mbs hack and Avid will not accept it. Others say that their .mts files import fine but I recieve a "mpeg not supported" error when trying to import. AMA doesnt work either. If anyone knows of a converter that will transcode .mts to .mov at high bit rates please let me know. Thanks in advance.

    MC 5 won't import GH2 files but 5.03 or above wiil do it.

    @Petee28 Have you tried ClipWrap's AVID wrapper yet?

    @driftwood No i didnt. As soon as i read ur reply I googled it and only found downloads for macs. Does it work on windows or is there a pc equivalent? thanks

    hmmm... shame there isn't a pc beta version released yet but I know they are working on one.
