gh4 4k frame grabs video useability

I WANT TO FILM IN 4K AND BE ABLE TO USE FRAME GRABS AND VIDEO. I DONT WANT TO USE PHOTO MODE JUST WITH INTENT ON FRAME GRABS. ALL THE LITERATURE IVE READ SAYS IN THIS MODE THE VIDEO IS OPTIMIZED FOR STILLS, DOES THIS MEAN VIDEO QUALITY WILL SUFFER? IM THINKING OF ROLLING IN 4K WITH A SHUTTER PRIORITY SET AT 60. WILL I HAVE USABLE VIDEO AND GOOD FRAME GRABS IN THIS CONFIGURATION OR AM I ASKING TOO MUCH. IN OTHER WORDS IS THE 4K PHOTO MODE ONLY FOR STILLS?
