The majority of Russians (80%) are ready to quit their jobs to start working as bloggers. This follows from the results of a study of the platform for working with bloggers Perfluence and the analytical agency Research Me, which TASS got acquainted with.

“Among Russians who have never blogged professionally - 80% expressed a desire to quit their main job to become a blogger. More than half of them are Russians from 16 to 24 years old, two thirds of whom are women (73%). Of the Russians surveyed, more than 30% saw the prospect of other professions as a prospect for the blogging profession - respondents over 45 years old. More than half of them (55%) were men, "the study says.

In addition, more than 80% of those surveyed who have never blogged are ready to undergo additional training in order to professionally make money on it. 50% of respondents believe that they lack knowledge of trends in the social media market for blogging, 44% said they do not know how to create content, 40% said they lack copywriting skills, 35% of Russians reported a lack of discipline for blogging.

According to the survey, 39% of the respondents would like to earn at least 100 thousand rubles a month by blogging, 26% - 200 thousand rubles, 25% - from 500 thousand to 1 million rubles. 10% believe that it is enough to earn 50 thousand rubles on a blog. Among the surveyed Russians who are professionally engaged in blogging, 35% are in the age group from 25 to 34 years old, 25% - from 35 to 44 years old - 25%, 16% - young people under 24 years old.

Among those who are already professionally blogging, 70% combine this occupation with their main job, while for 30% it is a source of income. 22% of those who combine blogging with their main job are employed in trade, 11% in transport, 10% have their own business, another 10% work in the service sector, 9% work in government agencies, 3% in medicine and another 3% - in the IT sector. Of these, 28% were against combining blogging with their main job and would like to completely switch to the development of personal social networks. While 72% of respondents are not ready for such changes.

Moscow (26%), Yekaterinburg (9%) and St. Petersburg (6%) entered the top 3 cities with the largest number of bloggers.

The government of the Pakistani province of Punjab plans to block the SIM cards of residents who are not vaccinated against Covid-19.

The decision was taken during a meeting led by Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the provincial health minister, on Thursday. She said the Punjab government is using all available resources to ensure that residents are vaccinated.

“The final decision has been made to block the mobile SIM cards of people who are not vaccinated,” agency spokesman Sayed Hammad Raza told the Pakistani newspaper Dawn.
