The latter. Why spend two grand on a camera and then skimp on cards, especially when they're so cheap anyways? U3 cards are hardly up there in XQD or CFast2 or Red drive territory- they're like 50cents/GB for good cards.

Sony has a hot-shoe XLR box too. The rolling shutter on the A6500 is godawful IMO. That combined with the soft 1080p and awful battery life make it a no-go for me. If they could fix those things and add 4K60 I would probably switch instantly.

@lmackreathlmackreath For 150mb/s you would need the same cards as a GH4... "U3" class... which guarantees a minimum continuous write speed of 30MB/s (150mb/s is about 19MB/s). Some U1 cards that are fast enough do work in the GH4 though…
