So let me ask this, why can't we have a Panasonic DMW-LVF2 like EVF?

    Every time i look at EVFs, i shun them for their overall size, and then i look at addon EVFs like the Panasonic DMW-LVF2, which are tiny, and wonder why no-one's made a real, true, EVF and not a dual EVF/small lcd, JUST an EVF.

    Wish i knew more about electrical engineering to hack something like that panasonic

    Because it is very costly to design and produce. And EVFs for video cameras are made in small amounts, contrary to Panasonic EVF were amounts are larger and were design is almost ready since cameras used same components.
