    Yes, and perfect timing since South America has finally freed itself from total dominance after several hundred years of colonialism and puppet dictatorships. There are now no US military bases in the region. Remarkable since there are over 1000 around the world today.

    If only the Mid-East could reach this before we destroy everything.

    The 140 year line is in the speech, that implies that Brazil is better than the U.S. because they've never waged war. So if you're making the speech and part of your argument is your supposed moral superiority, then you're fair game.

    Sorry, but I can't take any criticism of the U.S. seriously that's coming from a 3rd world country. I'm of Mexican descent and I stopped going south of the border over 20yrs ago because it's a dump. My parents still go on vacation there, and security concerns are now a real part of their planning.

    The only reason they're complaining is because they can't do the same spying we can. If Brazil had a quarter of the NSA's capability, they'd use it. And spying on other countries is what the NSA is SUPPOSED to do.

    LOL. So, if you are king of the hill you can fuck everyone else, because they are below? And all the "dump" they have is not because you get their work and resources for cheap using finance system your own, army and, yep, spy data, but because they are third class? How interesting.

    Their dump is of their own making because of how their countries were founded under monarchy rule. Even when they became independent they were under military dictatorship for years. Their problems started before the U.S. came into being, around 1492.
