Playing back .mov files on a pc - software suggestions

    Hi there - some help please. I'm editing a long-form documentary being shot on a C300. Our avid unity system is clogged with other projects and my client won't be able to view/log footage in an avid until much closer to the time of editing due to a storage bottleneck. Any suggestions for some software that would provide reasonable non-choppy playback of camera files? VLC looks pretty stuttery..

    Try installing Quicktime for Windows, .movs should play in Windows Media Player or QT player.

    Another option: if you want to share it with your client, upload it to Google drive, and send him the link.
