    I really don't know end prices. They depend on particular seller, and I don't know one that sell this already.

    But looking at wholesale ones they must be competitive. Not very low, but ok.

    They've been "out" for a very long time. It's just impossible to find anyone selling this stuff so I lost interest a long time ago

    They sure look like RedRock products, which itself also look similar to many other brands :) One day, all these rigs will look and function similarly, except for the coloring of the knobs :) I'm sure they are running out of options for the knob color. Seriously, what's wrong with using black color knobs.

    By the way, there are lots of Weifeng products here in Asia. Check out their camera bags, they are pretty value for $

    They had different items in their 2010 line. This is new stuff.
    As for "impossible to find" as I understand this will change.
    They have two reasons for this.
    First, my understanding is behind this project stands not very large group of engineers and other people, so it is not so easy to push it inside big company.
    Second, all their dealers got samples. But they don't know how to sell this stuff, so they are afraid.
    Thi is my current view.

    I saw the product at the SMPTE in SYDNEY today and I can tell the build quality is really low. Many item on demonstration were already broken after 2 days of use. The rigs look cheap (but are cheap as well). Far from Redrock. The knobs are better than the ones you can find on an indi-rig but the rigs from dvcity have better versatility and arount the same price... Now some items seems good (mini magic arm and a really good V mount battery plate with external power options and hdmi spliter) some really bad (a fragile follow focus rig and the texture of the handle)...
    I have some products from them, but I won't buy anymore. I want something that can last now...

    I really like different opinions, and many chinese parts leave lot to be desired.
    But I won't tolerate any unfounded bashing of any manufacturer.

    I have had much experience sourcing Chinese CNC stuff for my underwater lighting products company. I have learned not to "judge the book by its cover"...stuff that looks and is nicely machined sometimes put together like shit. Weak points are often not immediately obvious. Sometimes I need to make minor mods to fix it ...sometimes I don't go beyond samples.

    Example is a recently "recommended" cheap Ebay Follow Focus...I bought one (I bought from him before and he's a good Ebayer). Well machined but crappy "slippage" in the gearbox...can't tell from photos. The FF now works well after a few hours of attention in my workshop...

    Most people have different opinion abot this FF as I see. So, you could be unlucky.

    Sure, you can check on the smpte website and you will see that E-image is one of the exhibitor, so I don't lie when I say I saw them.
    They had 3 follow focus rig made of rubber (for around 25$), 1 was broken (the connection), the other two showed unusual marks of use for something supposed to be new.

    For the handle, you just have to take the handles on a kid's bike to feel what I mean about the texture. It's not sturdy and will move after few weeks

    I own 2 wf-717, and 3 articulating arms (1 broke after 1 month) from e-image/weifeng.
    I don't say everything is bad in this company. The price is really good for a beginner in the industry.

    However, if it's not acceptable to say that SOME products from e-image are bad. It's ok for me you can delete my post.
    I wasn't paid to write this. It was an honest comment made from what I saw and TOUCH not from some pictures on Internet.

    In my opinion, the main strength with these and weifeng is that once distribution is figured out, we will hopefully be able to buy all this stuff for DIY at cheap prices and have all the spectrum of bolts and whistles we might need for our rig. Their products I highly doubt will be better designed than gini stuff or trusmt or wondlan and similar seller, but they will be attractive if they are cheap and you can shop anything you want. GINI stuff is the best deal for "full" rigs that contain many parts, but it's the worst deal if you want to buy individual parts. And other sellers either have similar problems with very expensive shipping cost or do not have wide enough variety of 15mm rod accessories

    could you pretty please provide more info on your v mount solution and how it powers the gh2:) , where we can buy it from, if it's specially custom made etc. I would kill to have a v mount plate that has an option for 8.6 or 9 volts

    So, old used friction FF is basis for your opinion about all?
    Or this is adjustable FF ring that you mean?
    Either way it sounds pretty strange as basis for anything.

    I just want to inform you that as far as I know both E-Image and Tilta do not produce battery based solutions, they buy them from other producers.

    Got many Weifeng parts (not for free or as present, so my opinion is not affected by any stuff ):-)

    Some short initial notice.
    Quality is very very good.
    Almost all things are light and very sturdy. Thumbscrews - very good.
    They did some fast initial improvements on request.
    Like all handles do not have any plastic things in them.
    And camera height adjustment now can be made using thumbscrew.
    Especially like their carbon rods. They look very different to most other carbon rods I have.
    They are just dark gray (looks like anodized alu from 1m), but they flex much less, and weight is small.

    Hello everybody,

    we are officially selling the E-Image parts (we're a reseller from Germany).

    I do not have much to add to Vitaliy's post. Those parts are really well manufactured and are stable (we're also a rental house and we have tested the rigs intensivly).

    Don't wonder about the name - Moko has too much in common with "mocking" which you definitely don't have to do here ;)
