Things that I like is the VGA OLED screen.
They also have 1.44Mp viewfinder (ala GH1).
1920 x 1080 30fps and 24 fps using H.264
Now you can use your tablet or smartphone as viewfinder (monitor) via Wi-Fi and also adjust camera parameters using it.

First looks seems NX20 to be a great gadget ... that's all :-) Big sensor performance (DR, definition, moire etc ...) and future improvements is what we want.
I like this.
Thanks @VK for the link - I apologize in advace. It looks interesting indeed -- especially a new ratio of 1920x810, 24p -- quite interesting.
So NX1000 also got 24p but at 1920x810 it seems. What is bitrate? Still strange choice for aspect ratio.
I wish I knew @John_Farragut. I guess they're aiming for the ambitious and since the 2.35:1 just screams pure cinema, my opinion, they want to be as different as the other competitors (Canon, Sony, Panasonic).
I think it's quite early in the game. We shall see what others would find.
I'm aiming for the NX1000 when it hits the stores in June.
Samsung get all the tech to make real video oriented camera. Add 720p amoled screen, I am sure that they can do very good OLED viewfinder. Wifi is present already. More channels on sensor, better main LSI, and USB 3.0 port and it'll be done.
Yes, Samsung is a smart company. Look at how fast they are growing in phone business. Blow everybody away.
Samsung have all the tech. They can easily take on the established. Just wish they didn't do crazy stuff like the 1920x810 24p. Wish they just do 1080p25 also.
I can easily see Samsung own the market for video oriented camera in the near future, while everybody is sleeping. And they learned how to design :-)
Samsung could indeed be the company to look for in the future.
I wonder if this wifi thing works with the wifi direct that some of samsung android phones/tablets have so you can really use your phone/tablet like a viewfinder/monitor.
As I understand any tablet or smartphone with WiFi can be used.
It is better to check manual first, of course, if ti is vital function fo you.

I really like the wifi idea. I saw some information yesterday regarding a test of the new retina display on the iPad 3. It was amazingly close to the Rec. 709 specs. (of course that was just one display but nonetheless very interesting) I think that they are aware that they will be a major platform for watching movie and television content.
