Danish A.P Moeller-Maersk A/S expects to complete all container operations with Russian containers by the end of April.

“Stopping business in a country like Russia is not so easy. Before the start of the military operation, we had more than 50,000 applications for the transportation of containers to Russia ... We expect that it will take us until the end of April to either otherwise, take out all the containers (from the loaded ports of Europe - IF)", - said the head of the AP Moeller-Maersk A/S Soren Skou at the company's annual shareholders meeting on Tuesday.

In addition, according to him, there are about 50,000 Maersk containers in Russia today, mostly empty. "We need them, we wouldn't want to leave them in Russia," he added.

"Therefore, we will still have several ships to Russian ports," Skou said.
