Scam: Patent holders want $15 from each car using 4G, even if it is off

    Japan's Nikkei Asian Review reports that the legitimate interests of a group of 48 companies that control 70% of 4G communications technologies have approached the three largest Japanese automakers to pay $15 for each vehicle with 4G connectivity. The fee will be charged even if the end car owner does not use these functions.
