Patch for Europian GH2 users (50i/25p instead of 60i/30p)

    Hi, I would like to ask Mr. DRIFTWOOD or Mr. VITALIY or any skilled one to make for us this European version Patch:

    Manual Movie AVCHD:

    FSH - 1080 50i CBR 80MB/s

    FH - 1080 50i VBR 40MB/s

    SH - 720p50 CBR 80MB/s

    H - 720p50 VBR 40MB/s

    Motion JPEG:

    HD - 2048x1152 25p ( as RED 2K 16x9) or 3072x1728 25p (as RED 3K 16x9) CBR 80MB/s

    WVGA - anamorphic 2048x1024 25p (RED 2K 2:1) CBR 80MB/s

    VGA - any

    QVGA - any

    HBR - 1080 25p CBR 80MB/s

    24p Cinema:

    24H - 1920x1080 24p (native 24, not 23.976)

    24L - 1920x1080 24p (native 24, not 23.976)

    Of course it would be nice if the camera playback could read all of them. Sometimes it is good to check the footage immediately in the camera. Maybe some of Quantum XY could be modified...

    Hi, and whats the issue in setting these values in PTools by yourself?

    Besides, I don't understand what king of 2K and 3K resolutions you would like to see from GH2 in MJPEG - but I don't believe that's ever gonna happen.

    3072x1728 resolution will not work for starters. You can't mix SH and H CBR/VBR settings on 720 REC MODE as they share the same quantisation parameters. Settings SMBU or Cluster are already close to your needs. Try changing the mjpeg settings to the more conservative 2048x1152 on HD mode and 2048x1024 WVGA (you may have to lower some of my Quantum settings for MJPEG until it stabilises. Refer back to some earlier Quantum settings from the low GOP thread where I made a few resolution suggestions.

    25p HBR and 720p50 are being refined for the next versions of Orion and Rocket.

    Cluster v1 is already very good at HBR 25 (upto 72M) and 720p (around 40-50M). Etc Mode will push these bitrates to the ceiling.

    24H/L is 23.976 on the GH2.

    To Alfi666: I fly with RC Heli and want to hang GH2 on is, so that´s why I want bigger resolution then 1920x1080... for post production stabilisation.... now you got it? :-)

    @guzak: I was not even aware that MJPEG can go up to 2048x1152 - that's news to me, so my fault ;)
