    The most important information about the Podtrak P8 when compared to the P4:

    • Bigger than a laptop
    • Thicker than a ThinkPad
    • Still 44.1kHz and 16-bit

    And all this while they have ready F2 and similar recorder chips and schematics.

    For podcasts 32bit is even more important as in average qualification of guys who do them using such ready to run solutions is not too good. Clipping or low level are very frequent issues. I am not talking about some more advanced levelling.
