Preliminary situation with US fall camera sales

    November-December sales from internal source (online sales only)

    • Sony - FF around 20% below planned, APS-C around 25% below planned, some models like A7 older ones are good numbers
    • Canon - had been 15% below planned, latest discounts can get them within 10%
    • Nikon - very dark, up to 35% below planned. Mirrorless FF sales disappoint, Z50 sales are better. DSLRs are quickly fading out.
    • Fujifilm - much worse than previous year, around 20% from planned
    • Olympus - total horror, quiet panic. Some specific lenses and cheap bodies sales only are not bad.
    • Panasonic - FF sales very bad, around 30-40% below planned. m43 bodies - sales are around 20% below planned. Some discounted m43 bodies (including G9) and lenses are good.
    • Pentax-Ricoh DSLRs - one leg in in grave already, marketing and sales department totally deranged (in US)
